There are a mysterious race of humanoid robots on NETA-0878d, that are commonly called Hosts, we do not know what their purpose or origin is as we have not been able to obtain a fully intact specimen.

They are commonly around 32 feet tall, with long arms and legs. They have a flat head with 4 eyes under a shielding with holes for them to see.

There are only a few known activated ones, with all of our specimens reconstructed from parts of them scattered throughout the planet. Research on the surviving ones is not possible as they are hostile to any forms of contact.iu_949320_8858298.webp

Known Species

S. magnacaputus

S. solaestus

S. parvaborus

S. centrebrum

S. fulgurdolium

S. disputatioabsitis

Characteristics

This genus is closely related to Fodiendentallum but serves as living computers, not mining machines. Each species has a specific function such as a hard drive, power supply, heatsink, etc. These computers are far more complicated than ours and we are still working on figuring out how to use them. It is also difficult to access them due to the extreme heat emited by them. Even with the heatfungi, they still reach up to 3,200°F.

Known Species

F. tenues

F. parasitis

F. latus

F. deos

Characteristics

This genus is this planet's equivalent to plant life in the sense that they take solar energy and provide it to the other mechafauna. Thought to originate from alien mining robots, most of the species in this genus have drills on the bottom of their body and a solar panel on top.

Known Species

C. mylos

C. aeria

C. celerus

C. gigas

C. caverna

C. sapiens

C. curcurbitum (not canon)

C . thoraleneum

C. metalluvitrum

C. parvus

C. schisagneno

Usual Characteristics

Most species feature 1 eye (either camera or compound), a mono segmented body with a prominent mouth-like structure at the front, used to gather materials needed to reproduce. Some have 4 limbs while others have 2, but all of them have large back digitigrade limbs which are used for locomotion.

The mouthparts of most species are comprised of 75% Drasilium, allowing for a extremely powerful bite force (for the species that have jaws of course).

Exoplanet NETA-0878d

Fourth planet from its 2 suns.

Organic life is thought to have existed on this planet but, for unknown reasons, has long been extinct. However life still exists but in metal forms, thought to be created by this planet's intelligent species but evolved to become its own ecosystem.

Most of the wildlife on this planet (dubbed "Mechafauna") are made of a tungsten-steel alloy, with some species using an element unique to this planet called Drasilium.

Drasilium is extremely lightweight while also being more durable than any previously known substance, thought to be formed after a collision of 3 stars when this system was formed, only 2 of the three stars still existing.

NETA-0878d's atmosphere is comprised 20% of methane, forcing colonists to wear protective suits when outdoors
